I am a dynamic teacher, who likes to work with different manuals and learning elements, depending on the needs and ambitions of the student. I am very patient and funny ( at least that’s what they say 🙂 ). I am also versatile and make use of different materials, such as audio & video, as well as texts. This is all to deepen the linguistic development of the student and will come in handy when they have to use Spanish in different situations. My ten years of experience in teaching Spanish in different countries has given me a solid foundation in teaching the language. This is something my students can benefit from, since the very beginning of starting to learn.
During my classes I like to put an emphasis on analysing the different elements of the language. This will be of great help for the students in a real-life situation. My basic idea is to create the need for learning: to deal with elements of the language. This is something necessary for the student when they come into contact with the Spanish-speaking world.
I regularly attend conferences and events related to the teaching of Spanish. This allows me to be attentive to the new methodological approaches that are currently being developed and the new trends in the teaching of Spanish.
The courses are intended for adult students who want to learn and get to know different cultural realities.
As I am passionate about culture, I like to emphasize the cultural, historical, literary and artistic elements found in the different regions of Spain and Latin America. I like to avoid the stereotypes that many people have about the Spanish-speaking world, and show other well-known faces of these culturally rich countries.
